Google Apps：Set Alias of E-mail by DNS Server..

The current Google Apps net name of SSHES: host.sshes.tyc.edu.tw
Now, we want to add the alias on it: mail.sshes.tyc.edu.tw
How to set them between Google Apps and DNS of school?



step01: Login the Administrative Domain of Google, and then add "alias"(like the arrow under figure)

 step02: set them like the arrows under figure, and then click the button "繼續驗證網域擁有權".

 step03: Use the recommended way, obey the following steps by FTP under figure, and then click the red button "驗證".

 step04: Now, we must go to set DNS, otherwise we will see the red wrong message under figure.

 step05: Login the DNS's webmin, and then click "伺服器-->BIND 8 DNS 伺服器".

 step06: Click the button like the arrow under figure(the current DNS zone).

 step07: Click the button like the arrow under figure(the alias-"別名").

step08: Add the record of Alias following as the under figure:
名稱：the alias we want to name.
真實名稱：the real name of DNS.
PS1: Must add A POINT on the ending  of both of 名稱 and 真實名稱!
PS2: The Alias we just set will work after 30 mins (at least) to several hours. That means, it won't work "immediately"!

 step09: As for 郵件伺服器(MX), if we had set them before, we won't pay attention on them,
even we can ignore it.

 step10: These are the settings of Mail Server (MX) for Google Apps.

 step11: Fin, don't forget to click the button "APPLY" and "Restart DNS" as under figure.
